Timelapse building of AIDAPrima

Ever wondered how a cruise ship is built? Have a look at this time-lapse video of 124,500 gross ton (3,300 passenger) cruise ship AIDAprima being built in Nagasaki, Japan!

AIDAprima was due to sail her maiden voyage from Yokohama to Dubai on the 1st October. She was then due to sail to her homeport of Hamburg straight after. Unfortunately though, the shipyard has been unable to deliver the vessel on time. There is still no date on delivery of AIDAprima and no doubt the second ship for AIDA from the Mitsubishi Shipyard in Nagasaki will now also be delayed.
